Quixtar Has Taken The Reigns From The Amway Business Opportunity

Quixtar was launched on the 1st of September, 1999 with a business structure it calls I-Commerce. They are backed by the financial power of Alticor, which owns Amway as well.

I-Commerce combines the internet, a work at home business opportunity, and Amway's products and services to provide consumers a way to find quality products and business owners to earn money.

So How Are The Products?

Since Quixtar is backed by Amway, they already have a very large number of products, along with affiliate agreements with a huge number of online retailers, like WalMart and Barnes and Nobles.

Although the Quixtar products themselves are supposedly of very high quality, they also come at a steep price; often higher than what the average person would want to pay. This can make it difficult to find customers.

Market Timing

Unfortunately, Amway has been around for over 50 years and most people in the country has heard of them (sometimes in a very negative way). This is NOT a good thing. The distributors who get rich in ANY company generally get in during the first 5 years and ride the wave of growth for the company. By joining the company, you are essentially joining the Amway business of old with a face-lift.

The Opportunity Just Doesn't Stack Up

This is where Quixtar's biggest problems lie. Unfortunately, there are much better opportunities out there. We already discussed how Quixtar is in the end of its growth phase.

Strike One

Another issue is product sales and follow-up. Quixtar has simplified some issues with a web page where you can place orders, but there is still no back-end marketing done by the company. Our Top MLM Company provides customers for YOU through TV and Radio commercials. Plus they do all of the back-end marketing (sending catalogues and following-up) FOR FREE.

Because Quixtar doesn't provide this service, we cannot fully recommend them...

Strike Two

Finally, we are not fans of the breakaway compensation plan. More or less, this means that as people in your Quixtar downline build successful businesses, once they hit a certain point, their entire business breaks away, and you no longer earn commission on part or all of their sales. This makes it difficult to build people into business leaders.

Although Quixtar has great products for a work at home opportunity, the business system has much to be desired. Therefore, we would prefer any of our Top 3 Opportunities over Quixtar.
